Ben is current focused on developing MVC web applications using the Microsoft stack. He recently shipped Mind Body Partnerships, a social marketing web application which serves the independent health, beauty and wellness practitioner community of San Diego and he open-sourced SharpRepository, a .NET generic repository written in C#. Ben is also training for his first ultra marathon.

Ben has over fifteen years of large-scale software development experience working with financial, real-estate, insurance, clinical research, educational, medical and marketing companies.
Currently, Ben is a principal consultant at Fairway Technologies in La Jolla, CA where he provides technical leadership as architect and developer to a number of west coast firms.
Ben is a community speaker, author of johnnycoder.com, open source contributor and facilitator of multiple developer code clubs.
Ben earned a degree in Biology from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and holds numerous technical certifications including MCPD, MCTS, MCSD and MCP.
Ben lives with his wife and 2 sons in San Diego, CA.
